You may or may not know my beloved husband. If you do know him, you know that he comes with The Star Wars Factor.

Its nothing to be afraid of kids. The Star Wars Factor is the feeling of fullness in the heart for a very famous George Lucas movie. Symptoms typically include too many late nights watching multiple episodes in marathon form, repeating quotes from the movie while trying to relate them to real life, and the desire to name your little girl Leia. In some cases, impulse purchases like "Darth Tater" for your son may occur. The desire to also purchase "Spud Trooper" and "Artoo-Potatoo" may be present. In almost all cases, "Darth Tater" will not be for your son, it will be for your husband, hoping that your son will also carry The Star Wars Factor gene.

Although this may annoy you, The Star Wars Factor is not usually caused by a serious health condition. It is normal to watch multiple episodes from 6 to 40 times a year. A large box of Junior Mints helps to alleviate stubborn symptoms and promote a healthier lifestyle. This blog is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent The Star Wars Factor.

Finally, a diagnosis!! My husband has that too. As a matter of fact, he had a flare up last weekend :) It's great to know that we are not alone :)

Oh. My. Goodness. Dying of laughter. When I read this to my husband, also affected by this gene, he actually wanted me to turn the computer and show him Darth Tater. THEN he wanted to know if there were pics of the other toys mentioned. Only difference is that Jr. Mints don't bring him back to sanity. He shovels them in as he watches!
Thanks for the laugh.
