A Gift Like No Other

Sweet Lamby Pie, the object of affection that every girlfriend wants to hear stories of when she meet's her true love's parents for the first time.

The history of Lamby Pie dates back to the early 1980's, bought at the department store once known as Dayton's and given to Chad by Grandma and Grandpa Roberts. Lamby Pie is a stuffed animal resembling that of a lamb, wearing an aqua colored t-shirt which bares his name. Though he looks a little rough, Lamby Pie is the absolute definition of pure and true love.

The story of Lamby Pie goes all the way back to when Chad's sister Stephanie was born. Chad was six years old and to show just how much he loved his new sister, he passed his little Lamby Pie on to her by placing it in her crib. Stephanie, like many young girls do, grew very attached to her little stuffed lamb. Lamby Pie has been with Steph for over 20 years, has attending college with her, moved with her, and is the subject of many holiday conversations.

In celebration of Chad's birthday, the Roberts' Clan met up for breakfast at our half way point this past weekend. We were able to do a little catching up and while opening a few birhtday gifts, Steph presented Chad with a dark blue gift bag filled with teal colored tissue and a card. As we read the note, filled with kind words, Chad smiles because he knows just what's inside that gift bag. As he pulls Lamby Pie from the tissue, Steph smiles with tears welling as she passes this larger than life symbol of love on to our little baby.

To most, Lamby Pie is just a little stuffed lamb, but to anyone in the Roberts' household, we know that lamb is proof of what its like to receive a gift, full of pure kindness and the truest of true love.

World...meet Lamby Pie...

Steph, as we promise to take the best possible care of our sweet little lamb, please know that he will be loved and cherished. Its obvious just how much you must love this little baby that is on the way! Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
