What a great weekend! Friday night a wonderful family invited us over to mingle with other families who have adopted from Ethiopia! We ate pizza, chatted, and let the kids run around like crazy. It was really, really nice to meet these families and enjoy an easy going evening! We loaded the kids in the car to head home and Mamush was sleeping by the time we turned the corner 1/2 block down the road! We were able to get him upstairs, fully changed and into his crib without him even remotely waking up! That's when you know a good time was had!
Saturday was our 3rd annual Mehaber. The Mehaber has been taking place for the past 5 years. We have always attended as a waiting family, this year, we attended with 2! Very cool! I am always amazed at how many families attend the Mehaber, it really does get bigger each year. Families from all over the nation make the trip up to celebrate the afternoon. One of the best parts of the Mehaber is meeting fellow bloggers. I think next year we should all just where t-shirts that color coordinate with our blogs and put the title of our blogs on them...half us introduce ourselves that way anyway!
For those of you that did travel to the Mehaber, safe travels home!
